Open access policy

The journal adheres to the policy of open access (Open Access). All articles are posted indefinitely and free of charge immediately after the release of the issue. Full-text real-time access to scientific articles of the journal is provided on the official website of the journal, on the platform of the Scientific Electronic Library eLIBRARY.ru and on other aggregators. The founder and publisher of the journal is the Geophysical Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Article identification policy

Each article published in a scientific journal is assigned a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) - a digital object identifier - this is a modern standard for designating information on the Internet, currently used by all the world's largest scientific organizations and publishers.

Benefits of DOI and its impact on the publication of scientific research and their subsequent citation:

  • DOI allows you to identify and search for scientific data posted on the Internet;
  • this number always remains unchanged, and you can easily find a magazine, article or book by it;
  • the digital identifier of the object greatly facilitates the procedure for citing a scientific publication, since its title, abstract and keywords are sent to the international public scientific database of the International DOI Foundation;
  • when citing an article with DOI by one of the journals included in Scopus, Web of Science or any other prestigious bibliographic database, the data of the article and the author are also entered in these databases;
  • all journals included in Scopus, Web of Science and Springer must assign DOI to their articles;
  • an increase in the number of citations of the author's articles automatically increases his citation index and personal Hirsch index - the most important scientometric indicators at the present stage of science development.

Assignment of DOI today is an integral attribute of the scientific communication system due to the effective provision of processes for the exchange of scientific information.
