PYROXENITE XENOLITHS IN BASALTS OF ROCA NEGRA VOLCANO, CATALONIA
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
Newly obtained data on the whole-rock, trace-element, and He, Sr, and Nd isotopic composition of xenoliths in basalts of Roca Negra Quaternary volcano in Catalonia, Spain, are used in discussing the problem of mantle metasomatism that produced pyroxenite xenoliths of unusual mineralogical and isotopic-geochemical composition.
